Maths Tutor Telopea FAQs

Do you have a tutoring centre in Telopea?

No. Our Telopea address is our business and administrative base. Face-to-face lessons are arranged at suitable student homes or nearby libraries, with online tutoring also available.

Where can face-to-face tutoring take place?

Depending on location and tutor availability, lessons can be arranged at a student's home or a suitable nearby library. Dundas Library in Telopea is one possible local option.

Which year levels do you tutor?

We provide maths tutoring from Years 1–10. Teaching is matched to the student's actual understanding rather than assuming every student is working exactly at their school-year level.

Do lessons follow the NSW Mathematics syllabus?

Yes. Our maths tutoring and learning resources are aligned with the NSW Mathematics curriculum while also taking into account the student's actual schoolwork.

What happens during the free maths assessment?

The assessment normally takes around 45 minutes. We look at the student's current understanding, check important prerequisite skills, identify possible foundation gaps and provide personalised parent feedback.

How much does maths tutoring cost?

Standard casual tutoring is $70 per 60-minute session. The regular tutoring rate is $60 per 60-minute session when two regular sessions are booked each week.

Can you help if my child is behind in maths?

Do students get maths resources outside tutoring sessions?

Yes. Students can use our free maths notes, practice questions, interactive practice tests, worked solutions, NSW syllabus guides and maths games between tutoring sessions.
