Maths Tutoring That Meets Your Child at Their Current Level
A student may appear to be struggling with algebra, fractions or word problems when the real difficulty began with an earlier skill that was never fully understood. Simply adding more questions may not solve the underlying problem.
Our maths tutoring for Rydalmere students starts by identifying the skills affecting progress. Lessons then move from clear explanations to guided examples, independent practice and regular revision.
- Patient, step-by-step explanations
- Practice matched to the student's current understanding
- Support with schoolwork, homework and assessments
- Earlier foundations revisited where necessary
- Increasing independence rather than simply copying examples
